The Hotel Kaiser Franz Josef, completely renovated in 2018 with a 3-star standard, awaits you in a central location in Rohr im Gebirge, in the picturesque region of the Alpine foothills. Our pet-friendly establishment offers newly renovated, spacious rooms, family rooms, and apartments with SAT-TV, private bathrooms, and toilets. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire hotel.

The breakfast buffet is balanced, diverse, and included in the room rate.

Shuttle service to/from Gutenstein train station is available upon request, price on inquiry.

Our hotel restaurant is located on the international "Marien-Pilgerweg" (Vienna Pilgrim's Way) and is therefore the ideal resting and overnight place for all pilgrims and hikers. The restaurant kitchen is open from 11 am to 8 pm, in summer until 9 pm, serving Austrian classics and fresh regional specialties.

Our 35 completely modern furnished rooms offer you the highest sleep and living comfort. An extra bed or baby cot can be provided upon request. Our bathrooms with toilets are also new and meet the highest hygiene standards.

Our Breakfast Buffet

Our rich, diverse, and balanced breakfast buffet includes everything you need for a good start to the day. In addition to fresh bread and pastries, we offer cold cuts, cheese, scrambled eggs, butter, spreads, as well as fruits and vegetables. We emphasize the use of fresh and local ingredients.
